Skype Tutorial

go to http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/home
Click on the tab 'Get Skype'

Click the button 'Get Skype for Mac OS X'

Click on the 'Download Now' button

Skype will start to download onto your computer. This may take a while.

When it finishes downloading, a screen will pop up.
Click on the Skype icon then drag and drop it to the icon for the applications folder.

Skype is now downloaded on your computer.
To access Skype, open a finder folder, click on applications, then on 'Skype'

If you have an account, log in.
If you do not have an account, create one by filling out the form.

When you log in, your contact list will appear. Contacts who are also logged in will have a green icon next to their name.
Click on the contact's name to access call options

Click on the green phone icon to call a contact.

A screen will appear informing you of your call's status.
Once the call is accepted, the screen will remain. Click on the icons to add a video feed or hang up.

This is what it will look like if someone calls you.
Click on the green 'Answer' button to accept the call.

To add a contact, select 'Contacts' from the Skype menu, then 'Add a Contact'

You can look up a contact by full name, skype screen name, or e-mail address

There are people on Skype from all over the world, so there may be many people with the same name!
Once you have found the person you would like to add to your contact list, click 'Add Contact' and a contact request will be sent.
